Ah, April in Maine. The sun’s (mostly) out, our inboxes are packed, and wedding season is right around the corner. While the rest of the world is spring cleaning, we’re deep in timelines, design boards, and linen samples — prepping to bring our couples’ visions to life. Curious what a day looks like behind the scenes at Confetti & Cocktails this time of year? Here’s a peek into the coffee-fueled, detail-obsessed rhythm that powers our spring as a Maine wedding planner:
Every day starts with a good caffeine fix — think oat milk lattes, iced matchas, or strong black coffee — followed by calendar reviews and client updates. April is all about final walk-throughs, vendor confirmations, and design edits. It’s the month where dreams start shifting from Pinterest boards to full production mode.
Florals, flatware, candle holders, oh my! We’re putting finishing touches on design plans, finalizing rentals, and refining color palettes so our couples show up to wedding days that feel effortlessly them — cohesive, beautiful, and intentionally designed.
We’re often on the road, heading to a venue or meeting with vendors. It’s all about making sure every puzzle piece fits — from rain plans to floor plans. These meetings are where the magic really starts to feel real.
The workday doesn’t always stop when the sun goes down. Our evenings are filled with fine-tuning timelines, sending follow-ups, building out music cues, and making sure every detail is locked in with love and precision.
So yes, it’s busy — but it’s the best kind of busy. April is when it all begins to bloom, and we are so ready.
